Emergency call for the new Rescue/Engine

A big thank you to the Franklin Park Volunteer Fire Company, Franklin Park Police, and Ray Donch Towing for their swift response to a two-car accident at the entrance of Timberglen and Wexford Run. In addition to the vehicles, the Huntington Woods entrance sign and a gas meter were also damaged.

Please join us in welcoming Rob Quinn and Luke Merriman to the Franklin Park Volunteer Fire Company! Both were officially sworn in at our recent members meeting, and we’re excited to have them on board.
Of special note, Luke Merriman makes 5 generations of family that has served our community as Fire Fighters. Pictured is Ron, Luke and Scott Merriman.

Father Mac welcomes new Rescue/Engine with a special blessing

Father Mac, Episcopal Vicar of the Diocese of Pittsburgh’s Northern Vicariate, recently visited Franklin Park Volunteer Fire Company to bless their newest addition – a Sutphen-built Rescue/Engine. With a prayer and a sprinkle of holy water from the Jordan River, Father Mac offered a special blessing to protect the new Engine and its dedicated crew. ... (Full Story & Photos)
